Omnia publication of Knightly orders, written by Don Francesco Maria Mariano Duke of Otranto, illustrating more than 500 decorations with a brief historic profile of the blazon, bringing to light numerous extinct or fallen orders due to historic events that brought about their elimination. With excellently drawn stylised illustrations, current Orders or orders which are not officially recognised by current institutions but which are still alive in the conscience of people. The search is not limited to just Europe, but also orders from Asia, Africa and South America have been blazoned.

An important work published by the Italian Heraldic Council, a fascinating journey into the world of the noble Heraldic science, to rediscover the coats of arms of the more illustrious Dynasties, towns, Military and Knightly orders. The antique symbols are reproduced in all their beauty and pride, making this publication quite unique with nothing similar previously published in Italy, which, for its artistic and scientific value, represents a milestone and point of pride for international heraldic publishing. More than 3,000 blazons have been collected from the various sources, reviewed and redesigned by able artists. Each coat of arms is accompanied by the blazoning, from the due titles through to the home. An absorbing and fascinating journey, easily consulted by the alphabetic order, reference numbers, family surnames, province names, military orders, knightly orders. An irreplaceable source of information for researchers, historians, heraldists and lovers of this subject. The volume contains 800 pages, measures cm. 33 x 22, covered in stiff blue imitation leather with gold relief, glossy paper, precious binding, hand writing paper, twist thread sewn binding with square spine and capitals. Three yearly edition. Your coat of arms can be included in the publication by sending a b/w or colour copy, depending on your choice, while family coats of arms with crown have to follow a special request by sending a copy of the Letters Patent to the Institute of the Sovereign concession of the noble title or other equal documentation, with details of the address. APPENDIX TO THE ITALIAN HISTORIC-NOBILIARY ENCYCLOPAEDIA

A publication to complete the 1928-36 edition of the Italian Historic-Nobiliary Encyclopaedia, directed by Marquis Vittorio Spreti. It gives the genealogical link of certain Dynasties, the coats of arms, brief historic, heraldic and nobiliary notes about people or dynasties, with the ex novo noble families or those who have been purposely excluded from the various noble lists. Inclusion in the publication is through the examination of documents proving the noble titles. A copy conforming to the original of the Letters Patent of the concession and the coats of arms must be forwarded to the Institute. Now being published.
